Welcome to the 2026 – 27 curling season!

We’re excited to get another season of curling underway at the Wainwright Curling Club!

Whether you’re a longtime curler or thinking about trying the sport for the first time, we’d love to have you join us. Don’t have a full team? No problem. Register anyway and we’ll do our best to connect you with a team looking for players or spares.

Registration Nights:

Join us at the Wainwright Curling Rink to register for the upcoming season:

Wednesday, October 7: 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

Wednesday, October 14: 4:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Don’t miss your chance to sign up for the upcoming season!

If you pay your registration fees on either registration night, you’ll be entered into a draw for a chance to win your registration fee back!

All curlers are required to complete the appropriate waiver form for the season. Adult and Junior (under 18) registration and waiver forms are available here.

Annual General Meeting

The Wainwright Curling Club Annual General Meeting will be held:

Wednesday, October 21 at 6:00 p.m.

The meeting will take place upstairs at the curling rink. Food will be served, and we’ll keep the meeting short!

Members are encouraged to attend and stay involved in what’s happening at the club.

Learn to Curl & Open Ice

New to curling? Looking to shake off the rust before league play begins?

Join us for our Learn to Curl and Open Ice sessions:

Monday, October 19: 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Thursday, October 22: 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

The bar will be open both evenings.

These sessions are a great opportunity to learn the basics, get some practice in, or introduce someone new to the game before leagues begin the following week.

Bulls ‘N’ Buttons Bonspiel

Friday, November 27, 2026 and Saturday, November 28, 2026

Call Jordan at (780) 842-0142 or Shawn at (780) 209-8344 to register.

Everyone Is Welcome

You don’t need to arrive with a full team to curl with us.

If you want to play but don’t have a team, register anyway. We’ll do our best to connect you with other curlers, and teams are often looking for players and spares throughout the season.

Coming Up This Season

We’re also excited to be hosting the Senior Men’s Qualifier from February 4–7, 2027.

Watch the website and our social channels for more details on club events, bonspiels and other updates as the season gets underway.
